CompositeDeicer Granules

Composite Deicer Granules is a highly efficient product designed for winter snow and ice removal. It is usually compounded with multiple ingredients, the core ingredients are salts such as calcium chloride and sodium chloride, and substances such as potassium acetate and urea may also be added, as well as functional additives such as corrosion inhibitors and anti-skid agents.

From the working principle, composite deicer particles mainly use the characteristics of salts to reduce the melting point of ice and snow. After calcium chloride and sodium chloride are dissolved, the freezing point of ice and snow will drop below 0℃, as low as -30℃ or even lower, thereby accelerating the melting of ice and snow. At the same time, ingredients such as potassium acetate can maintain a good snow melting effect in low temperature environments, further broadening the product's use temperature range. The addition of corrosion inhibitors can effectively reduce the corrosion of chloride ions on roads, bridges, and metal facilities, and extend the service life of infrastructure; anti-skid agents can increase the friction of the road surface, reduce the slippery road surface caused by snow melting, and improve the safety of driving and pedestrians.

In practical applications, this deicer particle is easy to use. It can be evenly spread on roads, airport runways, squares and other places where snow and ice need to be removed through professional equipment such as spreaders. Its particle shape helps to accurately control the amount of spreading to avoid excessive or insufficient local dosage. Compared with single-component snow-melting agents, composite snow-melting agent particles have a wider range of applicability. They can not only melt snow and ice quickly, but also better adapt to different climatic conditions and road materials, and have relatively little impact on the environment. However, during use, it is still necessary to control the amount used to avoid excessive pollution of soil, water bodies, etc., to ensure that while meeting the needs of snow removal, the protection of the ecological environment is taken into account.
